Salt & Light Web Designs

Website Design Policy

Thank you for choosing Salt & Light Website Design. To ensure a smooth and successful project, please review the following policies before beginning your website project.

Project Agreement

All website projects require a signed Website Design Agreement before work can begin. The agreement outlines the scope of work, project expectations, payment terms, and ownership transfer.

Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before any design work begins.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion and before the website is launched, transferred, or delivered to the client.
  • No website files, website access, domain transfers, or website launches will be completed until final payment has been received.

Client Responsibilities

To qualify for promotional pricing, clients must provide all required content, including:

  • Business Logo
  • Photos / Images
  • Service Descriptions
  • Business Information
  • Contact Information
  • Social Media Links (if applicable)

Delays in providing content may result in project delays.

Revisions

Each project includes up to two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions or major design changes outside the original scope may incur additional fees.

Website Ownership

Upon receipt of final payment:

  • Ownership of the completed website transfers to the client.
  • The client is responsible for maintaining ownership of their domain, hosting account, and website accounts.
  • Login credentials and ownership information will be provided during project handoff.

Maintenance & Support

Salt & Light Website Design currently provides website design and launch services only. Ongoing website maintenance, content updates, hosting management, domain renewals, technical support, and future modifications are not included unless agreed upon separately in writing.

Refund Policy

Due to the time and labor involved in website design, deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. If a project is canceled by the client after work has started, any payments already made will not be refunded.

Project Completion

A project will be considered complete once:

  • The agreed-upon website has been delivered.
  • Requested revisions within the agreed scope have been completed.
  • Final payment has been received.
By signing the Website Design Agreement and submitting payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
